In addition to surveying members of the 111th Congress, Research!America and our partners commissioned a national public opinion poll featuring questions similar to those we are asking Congress.

Poll findings include Americans' dissatisfaction with health care, the need for health reform and their views on whether the government should ensure coverage; providing incentives for health care careers such as doctors, nurses, physician assistants and dentists; health research funding for the NIH, CDC, AHRQ and FDA; American competitiveness; STEM education; and embryonic stem cell research.
