Nineteen years of Research!America public opinion polling have shown how important medical, health and scientific research are to Americans, including your readers, viewers or listeners. Public opinion polls consistently show that few Americans are very well informed about their elected officials’ positions on health and research. Many members of Congress are already on the record with one of our past initiatives, but if a Senator or Representative has not responded recently or at all, you may be interested in asking why. We think you'll find this information useful not only now but also in the future to compare elected officials' actions with their positions posted here.
