Established in 2007, Your Congress–Your Health is a constituent education initiative. Public opinion polls consistently show that few Americans are very well informed about their elected officials' positions on health and research. As the nation addresses health reform, it is essential for constituents to know where their representatives and senators stand on these issues. Research!America and our partners have invited all members of the 111th Congress to complete a questionnaire about research and other issues that affect our health.

Each member of Congress received a letter and a copy of the questionnaire. They may respond by fax, mail, e-mail or online at a secure link, accessible only with their unique password.

Senators' and representatives' answers will appear as they entered them online. Responses received by fax, mail and e-mail will be entered in the online system as submitted. Responses will be only reviewed for inappropriate content (e.g., profanity). In the unlikely event that content is deemed inappropriate, the member of Congress will be contacted and given the opportunity to edit the response.
